Convocation 2010 for JF Academy Kuching and Maison Monica

Guest of Honour: YB Datin Hajah Fatimah Abdullah (Minister in CM’s Department)

66 happy enthusiastic students of JF Academy Kuching and Maison Monica Hair & Beauty Academy attended a convocation on Monday, concluding their training in the academy and beginning a new journey.  Dressed in convocation gowns and mortar boards, they received certificates from the event’s guest of honour YB Datin Hajah Fatimah Abdullah.

The occasion was not only graced by YB Datin Hajah Fatimah Abdullah, but also by Dato Aric Ng, the Group Managing Director of JF Academy.   In their speeches, they encouraged and motivated graduates to be outstanding beauticians and stylists and be entrepreneurial.  In Dato Aric Ng’s speech, his words ‘Your attitude determines your altitude’ – ‘态度决定高度，格局改变结局’ – urges graduates to adopt the right attitude and perspective to face life’s challenges.

Congratulations to all the graduates and all the very best in your future!

Maison Monica Hair and Makeup Show @ Pullman Hotel Kuching 2 October 2010

The hair and makeup show at Pullman Hotel, Kuching, was a success.  As always, the students who take part outdo themselves.  Despite the anxiety and stress, everything turned out well.  It is no exaggeration to say that with each show, the hair and beauty students show a higher level of skill in their execution.

There were 2 parts to the show: the first part is entitled “A Malaysian Tale”.  The second part is “Colour Emotion”.
